The photos of this book were taken during the 24 Heures du Mans, in June 2003; a way of celebrating eighty years of this highly regarded race, and Bentley's victory.

Jacky Ickx lends his personal thoughts about the 24 Heures du Mans throughout the book; remarks collected by Pierre Neveux, who also wrote the preface.
